We were very saddened to hear of the death of David Coombe, who was a Partner at Mustoe Shorter for many years and, before that, at Cousins Coombe & Mustoe.
David was a great pleasure to work with and we all missed him greatly in the office when he retired. He was a first-rate solicitor, and a fantastic colleague. He was always ready to listen, to colleagues and to clients, and had infinite warmth and patience. He had a calm presence, along with a great sense of fun.
His empathy, wisdom and humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Our sympathy goes out to Lin and all his family. He was a wonderful man.
